Brake Lights

I'm disappointed about the brake lights. I went to Wal Mart on Saturday and they said they fixed it. It cost $3 and I was sooo excited. Come to find out they still didn't work which means that it's some sort of electrical problem most likely. The emergency brake light has been on since the brake lights quit working so I think that's a safe assumption. Sucks.

That's all I have for now.

I've been feeling a lot of stress lately. I don't know. Sigh.

Breakdowns suck. I've been having some the last few days.

I'm meeting with Pastor Diana today on the spiritual debt. We'll see what happens.

Oh I did decide to babysit. Wednesday night is my first night! I'm excited about it! I'll be babysitting 2 of one of my agent's cute, cute boys. Can't wait!

Emergency Fund and the Library. Oh and taxes.

I have my $500 emergency fund!!!!! Yay!!!

Oh and I talked to the library. Before Tuesday I owed over $500. Yes I know. It's crazy and not understandable. It's just because I had a billion items still out. So I turned them all in and now it's $70.50 instead. Or rather it will be. I still have 1 item out and 3 books on tape that are all missing the last tape. So as soon as I find the last tapes it'll take $90 off and then once I turn in the last book I have out, it will drop it another $30. Then we add $2 per item for late fees which puts me at $70.50. That's exactly what I thought it'd be so I'm really happy.

Taxes. My financial people are doing my taxes!!!!! I'm so excited. We'll leave it at that for now. Soon I might put up the whole tax story. It's a pretty big deal. So the fact that they are helping me is HUGE! I'm extremely excited. I just can't wait to start paying the KGB, I mean the IRS. :) The sooner I start paying the better. That means the sooner I'm done paying. Yay!

Ok on to church and other stuff.

Keep your eyes open for new babysitting stuff. Mon-Wed nights. After 5. I'll have ya'll keep your ears open as soon as I make a 100% decision.

I'm out for now.

Getting out of Debt - Spiritually

Ok so I just sent Pastor Diana an email. I know this blog is about getting out of debt.

Remember when Pastor Steve spoke on not owing anyone anything or having anyone owe me anything? Well I am currently working on that. So since this is all about debt I can post a quick note on that.

Hopefully Pastor Diana will give me some direction on where to take this thing I'm dealing with. We'll see. Either way I am going to become debt free. In every area!

Last Night's Surprise

Ok so last night Stacy and I went out to dinner where she surprised me with $200!!! Isn't that amazing! Completely unexpected. It's from our furniture purchase a few years ago. She asked to take me out to dinner because she remembered something that she thought I would want and could use. She was absolutely right. So that was a huge huge blessing.

I asked the guy I owe $1400 (update from yesterday. my bad record keeping had me thinking it was $700- to) if he minded if I funded my $500 emergency fund first. He said he didn't mind and then said something funny about interest. lol. It was um funny.

Well I think that's it for the money update today.

I need to get an oil change and get my brake lights fixed. Immediately. Immediately has been immediately for quite a few weeks though. Before Christmas.... Sigh. MUST DO IMMEDIATELY.

New Job

Yesterday I had an interview for my "delivering pizzas" job. -Those of you that listen to Dave Ramsey know what that means. - The job is Saturday and Sundays doing grant research work on obesity. I would be going door to door with a team in specific parts of town asking people to participate in a study. I do get to offer them a $20 gift certificate also. I know I'm going to love. I really do think I'll get hired. The interview went very well. I would honestly be shocked if I didn't get it to the point where I would call and ask them why they didn't hire me. I think it went that well. - So back to the job. It's for UMKC's School of Medicine. For those of you that know me at all, you know that Neurosurgery was always my dream. How incredible to be able to work for the School of Medicine. Just imagine what kind of doors that will open up for me. You better bet that I'm going to meet anyone who's anyone there and I'm going to make sure they know me. I'm so excited about the whole thing. It's right by Charity's hospital which is another cool thing. I can stop in and visit her every now and then too. So that's the latest on the second job. I'm not afraid of work. I just need to do something I like or I'll just go crazy. I will too. I'll go crazy doing something I hate. In fact I refuse to do it. There are too many opportunities to do something that I do like so why the heck would I settle for being unhappy for a huge part of my life? Doesn't make sense.

Food - Michael's family gave me a lot of left overs! I'm excited about that too. It means that I don't have to eat Lean Gourmet's for a few days!!! Don't get me wrong. They aren't that bad. I just get sick and tired of them every now and then. :D It also means that I only used $12 of my 2 week $70 food budget!!!!! I bought enough the previous time so I didn't have to buy anything else. The $12 I used was when I went out to eat with Claudia and Carrie. Claudia is a missionary to Mali Africa. It was a special occasion. Though it was my first time paying to go out to eat in FOREVER, I weighed it and decided it was worth it and that I would just have to take it out of my food/Wal Mart budget. So I did.

Well I think that's the update for the day.

Oh I had to spend $0.60 on a sprite a few minutes ago. I'm real sick. I really didn't want to spend it, but my mom yelled at me a little so I went ahead and parted with it. lol. It's that bad. My fanaticism is that bad. ha ha. Makes me laugh. I used to waste and spend like there was no tomorrow. Guess what? There is a tomorrow. Tomorrow always come. Spending like there's no tomorrow is dumb as heck.

Ok now I really am done for today. Due to aforementioned sickness I might be going home soon. I feel like crap.

$25 and Moving and Gas

I saved $25 today. I can't really tell why, but suffice it to say that my stupidity should have cost me $25 today and it didn't!!!!! I'm very happy about that. I love going back to the budget and deleting things that I don't need to pay.

Last night I spent my first night at my new house. I really really like it. I'm very happy there. It is $100 more than I was spending, but I'm driving a minumum of 30 less miles a day. It's 1.2 miles from my job and my old house was 15 miles away one way. That's a plus. I did some math and have determined that it basically will even itself out. It also provides me with a lot of peace and a little more privacy which I like and it is definitely worth the extra hundred. It's really not that much anyway. I went from 250/mo to 350/ mo. That's really nothing.

There's my money update for today.

Oh I filled up the tank last night at $1.80 and gas went up .10 today! Go me. Got it just in time.

The New Blog for the New Me

Ok so I'm starting to use this blog again. I figured I'd better post something of substance besides the crap I have on here now.

I found a blog called Climbing Out of Debt. I had to comment his blog and so I'm sure he'll take a look at mine. Don't want him to think I"m a shallow vapid whore or something. So here goes.

I'm sitting here at work and there's a gas station right across the street. This girl just got out of my favorite car in the world. The grey blue convertible new beetle (i had a green new beetle but for financial reasons no longer do). This young beautiful professional woman just walked inside to pay for her gas.... sigh. makes me sad for me and really maybe a little sad for her too bc chances are that she is like everyone else mainly living paycheck topaycheck. She is super cute though. She just walked out with a coke or something. She has an awesome necklace on too.

Ok that's all for now.

I love this show. One of the best shows on tv.

Somebody made this beautiful thing of my husband.

Fine!

Beautiful man.

I'm watching Prisonbreak right now. THere are some hot men on this show.

Summer is over and I didn't even have that much this year. Didn't make it to PR or anything. Isn't that sad.

I would like this game. I doubt it would really be all that fun though.

More cute and pregnant. Which I of course am not pregnant or anything. Good heavens itd be an impossibilty, but I just like to look at cute pictures.
